On the day of the eclipse I joined some friends at Crissy Field in San Francisco. Here’s a link to their website: http://www.parksconservancy.org/visit/park-sites/crissy-field.html

Crissy Field

This is a picture I got from their website.

Crissy Field had originally been an air field but is now a park located on the north shore of SF, just east of the Golden Gate Bridge. The view is gorgeous! To the northwest is the bridge with the Marin Headlands behind it. And in the afternoon the Sun sets behind the bridge. Across the bay to the north is the beautiful Marin County where I live. There were lots of sail boats and of course, Alcatraz Island.  It tends to be windy there and Sunday was no exception. Wind surfers and kite surfers were leaping and flipping away on the choppy water.

We had a delicious picnic with only a bit of sand getting into my Sauvignon Blanc. My friend’s two sons and two dogs were running and tussling with vigor. As the afternoon grew later, people brought out their telescopes, cameras and goffy glasses to view the Eclipse. I wore the goofy glasses too.

The San Francisco Amateur Astronomers set up a giant telescope with a view screen at the end. Hundreds of people watched with great excitement and anticipation.

Sun GunThis isn’t the best picture but I circled the image of the sun. You can see the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. The Sun was just above the bridge during the eclipse. It was quite a view!

At the time of complete eclipse everyone clapped and hooted. Everyone was so friendly. It was great to share this event with others. The light got thin and bluish. It was like the difference between nonfat milk and cream. And the really coolest thing happened with shadows! They were doubled.

And the shadows of the leaves on the trees were all sickle shaped!

What an amazing world we live in!

British-born and -based artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster skilfully skirt the boundaries between beauty and the shadowier aspects of humanity, playing with our perceptions as well as our notions of taste. Many of their most notable pieces are made from piles of rubbish, with light projected against them to create a shadow image entirely different to that seen when looking directly at the deliberately disguised pile.

Usually we think of the “shadow” being the ugly pile of garbage!

I recently received an email from a client of mine that I’d like to share with you…

Hi Sarah, I would like to express my gratitude for the great and incredibly effective sessions on emotional work I had with you.

Here is a small testimonial which I would like to write for everybody who is on the Path to Enlightment. We all know we have shadow energies within us, and most of the times we spend our positive energy trying to suppress them and pretending we are above all of that, without realizing how badly this approach affects all areas of our lives. For the past 10 years I was individually working on releasing my shadow energies such as fear, and most importantly – shame (which disguised itself skilfully under various masks). However the effect was minor and I was making slow progress, until I came across Sarah Biermann’s articles, and subsequently website, and sessions. The results of her work with me were /still are amazing! Sarah’s techniques are on the cutting-edge of Emotional Spiritual Healing and they are so effective, that one would be surprised by the speed with which the old patterns / problems and shadow energies disperse and new and Divine begins to unfold. It affected my entire life from relationship with people to financial issues within the matter of days! Overall I am now a very Happy Expanding Shameless Being on incredible life journey which would be (and used to be) bumpier and pricklier if I had not had these emotional freedom sessions with Sarah.

I recommend this course (Emotional Freedom Program)  to everyone who is tired of vicious circle of troubles and mood/fortune swings, and really wants to break through to live full, happy and creative life! With love and light.”  Diana Falby
